  1. what do you use to seal the Jack Daniel bottles that are filled with liquid- is there a video on to do this?

  2. Hi Biggie, thank you for leaving a comment and sorry for the late reply here. I see Nick already answered your question via email.

For anyone else reading this, the rubber part in question is part of the bottle lamp kit that you need to purchase in order to create a lamp.
There are ususally a couple of different sizes included in the kit. You can find the Lamp Kit on our supply page. It’s the fourth one down on the page :)

  3. I could use a hand with a question. I have several bottle lamps that I would like to add to the lamp shade. I want top add witches flying on a broom on one and pirates on the other. I was not sure the best way to accomplish this. I thought stamping thwm or using a stencil, but was just not sure. I need some help please.

    Thanks,
    Rick

    1. Ricky,

Sponging or stamping would work very well for what you want to accomplish here. It will be easier to find these stamps than it will be to find a specific type/style of lamp shade.

      Best of luck,

      Silke

    1. Coleen, we created a Supply/Resources page for our visitors – https://www.bottle-lamp.com/resources/

Please let us know if there is something you’re looking for that we didn’t include on this page. We will gladly research the best product with the lowest price and add it.

If you don’t like to shop online then you can always look for supplies at your local craft or department store.

Happy crafting and remember to send us a picture of your finished bottle project for the DIY Show Off page. :)

Thanks for the Kudos! We have a DIY show off page that let’s fellow crafters share their bottle crafts with other readers. Allowing other bloggers to contribute content that is relevant to the site is always a plus. We also accept guest articles as long as the content is well written and relevant to our bottle craft site.

  5. I found site to get lamp parts, but not sure of the medium size of adapter and check rings and brass pipe and bolt that comes with kit,can you help me

  6. Loving all the project ideas that are on your site! With my daughter at home from school these days, I’ve been looking for hobbies that we can work on together. She’s paints the bottles and I get to do the lighting. We’ve made some pretty cool bottles and have enjoyed the outlet that they offer. Hope all is well for you and yours!
