Procrastinating is an inherent trait in all of us. So why do we put off the things that would make our lives easier?

I don’t have an answer to that question but I can admit that I’m guilty of it. Silke and I have always felt that having a logo for the web site would really bring the whole thing together. The whole thing being the site itself plus all of the social media content that is created endlessly for it. The conversation would either end in; “Ya, I should do that.” or “Ya, you should do that.” or a variation of “We should do that.” Needless to say, it never got done.

One of my reservations about putting together something was that I knew that no matter what I did, it would never be right. I would tweak it until it broke and 100 different versions of it and never really agree on what would be best. There was only one thing left to do.

Seeking outside advice. An unbiased opinion was very much needed and we looked no further than Fiverr. There are a lot of people who are more than willing and able to help someone get up and running. It was over whelming to look at all the available artists so it just came down to picking someone who’s style seem to fall in line with what I had in mind.

A logo in less than 12 hours. I chose iffi_designs to be our go to designer. With four years of experience, 79 reviews and an impressive portfolio, we forged ahead with a design. After a revision and last minute change on our end we got the final result.

The simplicity says it all. It’s a straightforward no non-sense kind of piece that will serve it’s purpose and communicate to fellow crafters what and who it is that we are. I’m happy with the end result and I think it adds something to the website.
