Please do. Just purchased and it is some very odd plastic coupling device that does not fit any thing I have seen and will now allow you to remove the metal end to put a shade on it. Off to the hardware store tomorrow to see what additional equipment i need to buy to get it to work.

I’m sorry to hear that your having troubles. Are you referring to the clasp that attached to the ceiling? This might need to be modified to get it to work with your existing electrical wiring.
Does the ceiling mount work out of the box with a standard circular ceiling electrical box?
