Fizzy Water, Food Dye, Fun Lamp

Will sent us this picture of a lighted bottle. Will wrote:

During the day. I made it with a glass bottle, fizzy water, 2 LED lights, blue food dye and black spray paint. I filled the bottle up with fizzy water then put in enough food dye to make a blue tinge. Then sprayed the outside of the light black, same with the lid! Do you like?

Yes, we do. It’s a clever idea for adding a little color to any room in your house. The best part about it is that Will was able to put this together with common everyday products you might have around the house.

Thanks for sharing your photo and your idea.

  1. Bottle-Lamp,

Thank you so much for posting the image. Here’s a picture you may want to look at of the lamp at night time,
so as you can see; the bottle is quite light and goes well with my blue laptop and blue themed room! I think it is a lot nicer having a homemade nice lamp on next to me, rather than a shop lamp. Do you agree?
