An ingenious idea to recycle and re-use existing items has helped spark a new profitable hobby for one of our readers.
We received a letter from Mahendra that talks about his latest bottle crafting projects:
“Hi Nick , I finally made a couple of lamps- thanks to your tutorial on how to drill a hole. Two I sold it , I can say it was 100% profit in my local currency- compared to dollars I gave it free:-)
I remembered and took I picture, which I am attaching for your kind comments,I have used a decoupage technique as well.
In the picture you will find a wooden bookend ,like I wrote to you scrolling and woodworking is my hobby and this is one of my creations.
Thank you so very much ,you guys are great!
My regards to Silke.
Have a nice day!
Best wishes from India.”
The decoupage up-scaled this bottle into a very attractive vase. Nicely done. We liked your book ends as well. It’s a nice combination to have for showcasing your craft work. It looks like you have the beginning of a very successful hobby.
We want to thank Mahendra for sending us his latest projects.
