South Carolina themed Lighted Bottles

We received an email from Jim and Jeanette of DixiewinelvrsBottles.

They are in the process of setting up an Etsy store and also sell their bottle crafts locally. Here is what they said:

Greetings To You Both,

Jeanette just took 5 more SC bottles to a consignment shop here in Travelers Rest. She dropped by a couple weeks ago with one & the owner really liked them & asked for 8 more as she has had quite a few tourists kinda looking for that type. Just thought you might like to place them on your site.

Thanks, Jim & Jeanette

SC Lighted Wine Bottles

Good luck selling your crafts, they are awesome looking bottles.

In a return email we told Jim and Jeanette that we’ll have to look for them if we ever make it to Travelers Rest. Wouldn’t you know it? They graciously offered to play tour guide, take us to very scenic places and asked us to put it on our bucket list! Heck, we only live about 3 hours apart. :) Sweet!

Visit Jim and Jeanette’s Etsy store DixiewinelvrsBottles to see more of their fun and beautifully decorated lighted bottles here.

Caleb’s Lighted Wine Bottles

We have received a submission from Caleb Harper who has been busy putting bottles together for awhile now. Caleb writes:

Hey Good evening. I wanted to say you TAUGHT me to drill bottles and my Work has TOOK off. I would to show you some of my work at: https://www.facebook.com/Calebdwinebottlelights

Well I started drilling with just a Battery drill and now I’ve bought a Drill Press I really Enjoy doing this. But Where did you get your Diamond Cut bit on your video it seem like it went through REAL easy and quick. I feel I break more than I should. I feel like I’m putting to much pressure on them and My bit seems to RUST very quick after I applied water a day or so later. But I bought my bit at LOWES and I seem to get around 20 bottles drilled  Again thanks for taking to time to read my email and Getting back to me Thanks again I look forward to talking to you

Wine Bottle Lights by Bottles Be Glowing

Jessie from ‘Bottles Be Glowing’ has been a busy girl :). Here are her latest wine bottles with lights creations.

Jessie is selling her bottles on Etsy, you can find the link to her store under the picture.

Here is what she said in her message to us:

I made a wine bottle light using a green bottle, and then using basically the same design and stone colors on a clear bottle and this is what the results were.

Decorated Bottle Lights

We love the combination of glass gems with stones.

Isn’t it amazing how the differently colored glass bottles give them a unique look and feel? These bottles are definitely pieces of art and should be showcased accordingly.

Here is what she said in her email to us:
“I’ve enjoyed the pics you have posted from the other talented people, they are amazing! Still plugging away here but loving all the time I get to work on them. Here are 2 pics. Blue Half Moon and Key to my Heart. I have been having lots of traffic in my “store”, I know it has to do with the DIY Show Off pages, you guys are great for doing that. Thank-you.”
