With so many social media sites to choose from you might find yourself lost in space.

Finding the right place to communicate with fellow like minded individuals has never been easier in our digital age. But like walking up to a buffet and trying to choose what to eat, you can feel a little bit overwhelmed. Sure you could find your favorite thing and just go with it, but wouldn’t you be limiting yourself? What if you tried to put a little bit of everything on your plate? Would you really feel satisfied by the time you were full?

If something is working just run with it. With that thought in mind I delved into the Instagram social media site and truly feel like the social media process is fully in motion. I’m not going to go into comparing Instagram with other social media sites but instead point out some of the highlights that has made this medium so appealing for us.

If a picture paints a thousand words – Posting a picture is easy and if there was ever a better way to share a moment or a specific item than you really can’t make this an easier. Given the space provided to add a little write up is all you need to share your photo. I try to keep this short and to the point. If more information would need to be given there is always the blog posts.

Finding new people – Once I discovered the right hash tags to do my searches it was easier then ever to discover new bottle crafters. From wind chimes to painted bottles, it was more than I could have ever imagined. With so many artistic people sharing their work you really can’t help but feel inspired to go out and create your own!

Feeling the love – Anyone who is willing to put themselves out there and share with others something that is reflective of their own personal self deserves some credit. What better way to give kudos to someone or something than the simple act of ‘liking’ that person’s craft? It is always nice to see that complete strangers will go out of their way to compliment or encourage others who are willing to set themselves apart from everyone else.

We have found some really cool things over time and have been able to share them with you on this site. A big thanks to those of you who have taken the time to share your part of the world with us. For those of you that haven’t been discovered yet, we’re always exploring. Thanks for sharing the ride with us!
